Neuro rehabilitation is a type of therapy used to restore functionality in the body after a disease, injury or illness has affected the nervous system.
If you or a loved one has suffered from a neurological disorder, you understand how scary it can be. These incidences can make you feel out of control and very alone. LSVT BIG: The BIG program was developed to meet the unique needs of persons with Parkinson’s disease.
What is neuro rehabilitation?
Neuro rehabilitation, also known as Neuro Integrative Functional Rehabilitation and Habilitation (Neuro-IFRAH), is an individualistic, integrative approach that incorporates various systems, studies, products and specialists to create the most effective program for you or your loved one. Habilitation often accompanies rehabilitation because after suffering from a neurological disorder, you may have to relearn certain movements and activities (habilitation). Our specialists have a variety of information, programs and procedures available to create the best, most comfortable approach for your specific situation.
Where does the neuro rehabilitation treatment take place?
Hospitals can feel sterile and lonely. Border Therapy’s warm atmosphere will help you feel more comfortable and more likely to improve at a faster rate. Our physical therapists are some of the best and will make sure that you feel cared for and heard throughout the process.
